It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Jessica’s sister Erica Yvonne Blinkhorn died on August 5, 2012.  Erica also had Spinal Muscular Atrophy, the same disease as her sister Jessica.  She was a poster child for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and also received the Jimmy Carter Freedom Award for her community service.  She dreamed of  being an actress and screenwriter.
